(B) if the request is not fully complied with, the
information and documentary material submitted and a statement of the
reasons for noncompliance with the request. The period specified in
paragraph (2) may be extended only by the United States District Court for
the District of Columbia upon an application of the Commission under
subsection (i). (d) Additional Information. Before the expiration of the period specified in subsection (c)(1), the Commission may request from the person filing the agreement any additional information and documentary material it deems necessary to make the determinations required by this section. (e) Request for Expedited Approval. The Commission may, upon request of the filing party, shorten the review period specified in subsection (c), but in no event to a date less than 14 days after notice of the filing of the agreement is published in the Federal Register. (f) Term of Agreements. The Commission may not limit the effectiveness of an agreement to a fixed term. (g) Substantially Anticompetitive Agreements. If, at any time after the filing or effective date of an agreement, the Commission determines that the agreement is likely, by a reduction in competition, to produce an unreasonable reduction in transportation service or an unreasonable increase in transportation cost, it may, after notice to the person filing the agreement, seek appropriate injunctive relief under subsection (h). |
