春花秋月何时了，

往事知多少。

小楼昨夜又东风，

故国不堪回首月明中。

雕栏玉砌应犹在，

只是朱颜改。

问君能有几多愁，

Flowers of spring bloomed,
Moon of autumn shined,
It has never halted,
Oh, how I was ever applauded!

East wind visited again my lodging last night,
Too bitter a memory of my old kingdom where the moon is so bright.
　

Carved balcony and jade stairs are still standing,
The noble looking is languishing.

How much misery are you suffering?
As much as the water in the river in spring,
Eastward it continues flowing.
