11月8日晚，保卫处特邀请北京市消防局海淀支队清河中队的专家对新生安全员进行了第一次消防安全知识方面的培训。
消防支队专家的详细讲解，使到会学生充分认识到安全教育的重要性，增强了学生遇到突发事件的应对能力。
到会学生希望学校能够进一步对全体同学进行有关安全方面的教育，使更多的同学掌握安全预防知识，共同构建平安校园。
据悉，按照2007年的工作计划，为了全面提高广大学生的安全防范能力，预防各类突发事件的发生，提高整体安全意识，学校保卫处决定培训一支学生安全员队伍。自2007级新生开始，在新生班级中设立两名学生安全员，定期进行安全知识方面的培训。
